After taking courses in architecture and construction engineering at Innsbruck Technical University, Christian Zanzotti went on to study industrial design at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich.
Before graduating, the italian-born designer attended several internships and projects at renowned offices like Hannes Wettstein in Zurich and IDEO in Munich. In 2008, he entered the automotive sector, where he worked on concept vehicles and lightweight developments for international clients.
In 2013, he opened his studio in Munich where he works in product, furniture and vehicle design.
The German Design Council awarded Zanzotti the 2014 Gold Newcomer German Design Award.
Zanzotti’s design approach is defined by highly emotional yet simplified shapes. He designs distinctive products, pushing technological boundaries to produce outstanding results.
